I ran out of transfer paper for my vinyl a project or two before I made my Organized Week Dry Erase Board. It didn’t seem like it would be such a big deal until I needed to put the small lettering for the days of the week on the board. Turns out scotch tape works great!
First I cut out each word and peeled off the excess vinyl from around it.
Stuck a strip of tape a little wider than the word on it.
Rub over the tape to make sure the vinyl sticks to it and then peel off.
Gently touch the word down where you want it. Lift carefully if you need to adjust.
Then rub over the tape where the letters are and gently peel away.
Each piece of tape could last me through 3 or 4 words before it started to not be sticky enough. It was a great (and cheap) way to apply my vinyl words!
I found your blog last week and am so thrilled! I am in Eugene!! It's so fun to find close bloggers. Thanks for the posts, I really enjoy them. My blog has been a little neglected (my camera died) but I plan on updating VERY soon!!
