I am so happy to be here at Made It On Monday! I have a great tutorial and give away for you today! First let me tell you just a little about me.
I am so happy to be here at Made It On Monday! I have a great tutorial and give away for you today! First let me tell you just a little about me.
Those are my two beautiful little boys, now two and eight years old, known as trouble, and more trouble :)
I made these with material I already had on hand. Have you ever bought button earrings from Walmart for a $1.00 or in my case after Christmas holiday earrings for only 25 cents a piece. The little plastic cases those earrings come in is what I used for this craft.
To make the pill boxes all you need to do is cut out a circle from a photo, or as I did as well, a plastic place mat. The idea is to make it tight enough that it will stay in the top of cap with out any glue.
I had this place mat left over from another craft so I decided to make a flower pill box with it. It is an inexpensive Better Homes and Garden mat from Walmart.
To make the necklace you will need either fused pearls found from the fabric department at Walmart or you could use jewelry chain or even ribbon. You will also need a small piece of felt.
Once you have your photo cut and picked out, hot glue the packaging sponge material that came with the earrings to the back of your photo.
Then hot glue your two ends of chain to the back and cover with your small circle of felt. This would be a fun project for a little kids party.
Now for the Give Away!!!!
One lucky winner will get both of these pretty headbands I made. One stretchy lace one for a baby girl and the pearl one should fit most girls up to about age 8. It actually fits my big melon but is a little tight. Surprisingly my shop is filled with ladies and girls accessories when I have only boys at home. So I do understand some folks like me don't have little girls, but you could always gift these. If you win and would like to have them gift wrapped and mailed to someone else, I would be happy to do that for you.
