On My List to Make…

Did you have a good Labor Day? We began by madly rushing to clean up our house before a contractor friend came by to give us a bid on adding my craft room to our house (yay!!!). But the rest of our day off was spent having some fun.

I have plenty on my list of things to do, but I just couldn’t get up the motivation to get started. So instead of sharing a tip or a tool with you today, I thought I’d show you the tutorials and projects that have been inspiring me lately, and what I plan to do with them.

1

You Get the Picture showed this beautiful piece of art from a studio in her town. I love the quote on it and think I could use it for the art on one of the walls in my living room.

2

My friend, Amy, who blogs at Living a Radical Life shared a tutorial for this table runner. I’m doing a craft show on Saturday and want to make a few more things for it and think something like this would be great.

3

I think some money and gift card envelopes like this one from Jones Design Co. would also be a hit at the craft show.

4

Same with this banner from The Rachel Berry Blog (except I’d make them fall themed, of course!).

5

I made checkbook covers like these for my last show and they were a hit, so I’m planning on making a few more.

6

My nephew, Josiah, celebrated his birthday recently. The kid is a Jedi in training and I would love to make him some finger puppets like these from The Idea Room!

7

My camera could use some sprucing up, and I this a strap like this one from Nursery Rhymes and Sweet Times would be perfect.

8

And wouldn’t these make the cutest pricing signs for my craft show this weekend? (I’d just used subdued colors.)

Thanks for stopping by! And thank you so much for all of your sweet comments lately! You all mean so much to me!

  1. Goodness gracious, if you ever get around to making those Star Wars finger puppets let me know how much you'd make an extra set for. I have my own little Jedi in training who would LOVE those!
