Thanks to Rachel, I’m hooked on crochet. It started with my Time Out Cowl. Then I made one for my mom for her birthday…
It’s super soft and will be great for her this winter.
Then I made/started a bunch of baby bear hats using the pattern from Rachel’s shop. This will be great to have on hand for baby shower gifts.
And then I made a Super Grover and Elmo hats for me and Jace.
The look much cuter on.
We had a Family Movie Night at church tonight and showed the movie, “The Incredibles,” and encouraged everyone to come dressed as their favorite super hero (or really, just wear and super costume they might have). Since Jace was already going to be Elmo, I figured I could go as Super Grover and make him be Super Elmo. A lightning bolt and “G” and a cape completed my ensemble.
And Jace got lots of attention for his total cuteness. I think I need to make a Cookie Monster hat for Nolan to wear when we take Jace Trick-or-Treating. Then we’d be a cute little Muppet family. I love being a mom for Halloween!
Now I get to add yarn to my craft supply addictions. This crocheting business is a lot of fun!
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteOOOOOOO grover is one of my favorites! I found Rachel's site too, and I'm quickly getting hooked as well :) I wonder how much room I have in my craft room for yarn....hmmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteAnd is all your fault that *I* am now "hooked."
ReplyDeleteI bought some yarn a couple days ago to crochet a bunch of Christmas gifts. I am all over Ravelry saving patterns like crazy.
