Jace has been Elmo obsessed for quite a while now, so choosing a Halloween costume was simple. I used THIS Simplicity Animal Costume pattern to make the body suite. The fur is from Joann’s and I enjoyed using a 40% off coupon for it.
The pattern called for velcro in the back, but I was worried the fur would get stuck in it. A zipper clearly wouldn’t work either, so buttons did the trick! They blended in so well it’s hard to see them.
I told you more about his hat in THIS post. He LOVES wearing his Elmo hat.
I was so excited for a fun photo shoot with him to capture both the suite and his excitement for wearing it. Unfortunately, Jace didn’t share that hope.
I have no idea what this grimace was for but it makes me laugh!
We just hit up a few houses in our neighborhood for trick-or-treating, and my child just stared at everyone and the candy.
Then it was back home to cuddle with Daddy. Poor little buddy got shots today so he wasn’t feeling so hot. Before long, he was asking to go night-night and slept through the doorbell ringing and dog barking all evening.
I made Nolan a Cookie Monster hat so we could be a Sesame Street family. We had fun!
Check out the absolute cuteness of little Miss Bethany wearing the Juliet costume I made for her!
This picture just cracks me up! I love it!
What did your kids dress up as? If you post about it, leave me a link so I’m sure to see it!
